Partners& strengthens its employee benefits proposition with Health Matters

Partners& has acquired employee benefits adviser, Health Matters (UK) Ltd. The move is part of its strategy to provide a seamless insurance, employee benefits and risk management proposition to clients.

Coventry-based Health Matters was founded in 1999 and today employs 11 people, all of whom will integrate into the Partners& Wellbeing, Engagement and Benefits team. James Henson, Managing Director of Health Matters, will report to Marcia Reid, Managing Partner of the Partners& Wellbeing, Engagement and Benefits team, whilst founder Simon Hurley-Smith, will remain with the business as adviser / consultant to Partners&.

Our company was built on five pillars, Making a Difference, Quality Service, Pure Transparency, People Focus and Forward Thinking. It was obvious from the start that our values were very much in line with those of Partners& and we could not be happier to be joining forces with an award-winning company, whose focus is so clearly on clients and people.

We are delighted to welcome Simon, James and the team to Partners&. We truly believe there is a direct correlation between the health and wellbeing of employees and the health of a business. Closely following our success at the UK Broker Awards, where we won the Broker Start Up Award and the Diversity and Inclusion Award and being named finalists in the Corporate Adviser Awards for Best Health and Wellbeing Solution, reconfirms our belief that putting people at the forefront of business is the right thing to do. By joining forces with Health Matters, we are bringing together experienced specialists at a time when clients really need that expertise to protect themselves, their people and their business.”
