Partners& appoints industry recognised Chief Information Officer
Partners& has appointed Campbell McClean as Chief Information Officer. The move is an important step toward delivering the Partners& strategy to build the best insurance advisory business in the UK.
Campbell is an industry recognised information technology executive whose core interest has been in the design and delivery of technology to support business change and value creation. He has most recently worked as both Chief Architect and CIO in the telecommunications sector across North America, Europe, Africa and South Asia in both operational business roles and consulting in a range of sectors, including utilities, manufacturing, health, government and defence.
Campbell explains: “Having completed a short piece of work at Partners& to advise on IT strategy, I was impressed by everyone I met, the passion and energy are palpable and this is not always the case. When Phil asked if I would be interested in joining the Partners& journey I was flattered. I took a little time to think about the opportunity and quickly realised that I had much in common with the people I had met – driven, ambitious, with a real appetite to change an industry and the tools to succeed.”
According to Phil: “Our vision is to use technology to deliver insight and support the pursuit of high quality advice. Campbell brings 30 years of experience to this strategically important deliverable, and I’m thrilled he has joined the Partners& team. His recruitment represents a further step forward in creating the next generation insurance broker.”
