Responsibilities
- To provide a first-class proactive service to clients and prospective clients, looking for opportunities to satisfy needs through the client proposition.
- Manage end-to-end claims processing, including reviewing and validating claims, gathering necessary documentation, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve any issues relating to claims being handled.
- Ensure that claims processing adheres to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claims, ensuring that documentation is complete and accessible for review by internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and legal experts, to ensure a coordinated and efficient claims resolution process.
- To maintain own learning and CPD.
Qualifications
- Chartered Loss Adjuster or significant progress towards ACILA
Experience/ skills
- Sound technical knowledge of the Insurance Industry.
- Experience in Property Damage and Business Interruption.
- Working knowledge of claims processes and regulatory standards.
- Working knowledge of FCA compliance rules.
- Competent user of insurance client system; Acturis an advantage.
- Confident user of technology and software e.g. MS Office and Outlook.
- Good communication skills at a senior level.
