Client Adviser (SME)

The purpose of the role is to provide a first-class end-to-end service for SME clients.

Key responsibilities

  • To provide a first-class proactive service to clients and prospective SME clients through the adoption and implementation of the Client Journey and Partners& Difference.
  • To work collaboratively as a team to write, renew and service SME clients using the full end-to-end broking process.
  • Responding to client issues in a timely manner.
  • To build positive working relationships with Claims and the wider broking teams for technical or Client referral.
  • To act as a point of reference with insurers in negotiating terms for Clients.
  • Always working to our business operational standards, policies and processes.
  • To use client applications accurately and as defined by the business including invoicing and maintaining data quality.
  • To look for opportunities to satisfy client needs with other services and products, passing those opportunities to internal colleagues and our ecosystem.
  • To maintain own learning and CPD.
  • Alignment and demonstration of Partners& values (PACE).

Qualifications

  • Cert CII or working towards.

Experience / skills

  • Sound technical knowledge of the Insurance Industry with reference to commercial insurance.
  • Demonstrable ability to provide a responsive first-class service to clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and administration skills.
  • Active listening skills.
  • Knowledge of the wider Partners& offering.
  • Ability to organise workflow, prioritise tasks and manage own time.
  • Confident user of technology and software e.g. MS Office and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of broking processes and regulatory standards.
  • Working knowledge of FCA compliance rules.
  • Competent user of insurance client system; Acturis an advantage.
