Responsibilities:
- Lead generation and relationship management within in the M&A Advisory community.
- Work with our existing Client advisory team to identify opportunities to guide existing clients through transactions.
- Attend and host M&A community focused events.
- Actively engage with investor funds on a professional level.
- Introduce wider Partners& teams where appropriate and our eco-system partners.
- Identify risk and insurance related issues that may impact transaction value.
- Project estimated annual cost of risk for a target company’s insurance program on a post-closing basis.
- Identify current insurance-related outstanding liabilities and determine if an adjustment to balance sheet may be warranted.
- Analyse claims data and loss projections of the target business and identify any potentially problematic trends/patterns.
- Make recommendations with respect to pre- and post-closing coverage and 100-day plan.
- Provide a written report summarizing technical analysis, advice, and recommendations.
- Well versed in project management and overseeing colleague contribution.
Experience / Skills
- Possess a thorough understanding of general insurance programs.
- Knowledge of client risk issues and experience in the management of large, complex multi-national transactions and experience in a client-facing role.
- Proficient written and oral communication skills.
- Superior work ethic, time management and deadline prioritisation.
- Enjoy networking and socialising with clients at events to build strong relationships
- The ability to communicate and network with influential deal and decision makers in a way that is expected and sensitive to their needs.
- Enjoy autonomy and show initiative.
- Flexibility in work hours and the ability to travel.
