Client leadership academy

leadership-header
As a purpose led business, our aim is to support our clients through the risks and challenges they face. One of the biggest risks for business leaders today is cultivating the next generation of talent – recruiting, retaining, and training individuals with the motivation, skills and potential to take the business through the next phase of growth. The fact is external training is often expensive and not always relevant.

It’s this challenge which inspired Partners& to create our own Partners& Academy in 2021. Since then, the programme has been recognised as the Best Training Programme in our industry at the UK Broker Awards in 2023 and our Leadership Academy has recently been accredited by the Chartered Insurance Institute.

In the spirit of true partnership, we would like to offer you the opportunity to nominate one of your rising stars to benefit from this structured, award winning, accredited training programme. Why? Because our commitment to partnership extends beyond designing an effective insurance and benefits programme that will protect your business and your people. We want to make a difference and work with our clients, to help them confront their challenges and find solutions, realising their ambitions and delivering their plans.

The details that follow outline the proposed programme. Please have a look at it and consider who in your team would benefit.

Phil Barton
CEO, Partners&

Leadership isn’t about position or status, it’s about humility, listening, understanding, and influencing. Our belief is that powerful leadership is embedded in the acronym CCIV, which stands for Care, Courage, Integrity, and Vision.

I’m delighted to be leading this programme and sharing what I’ve learned over the years – from the football pitch to the sales floor and ultimately to the board room of large corporates and entrepreneurial businesses.

I look forward to working with you.

Phil Barton

I am loving the programme. Being new to management, I am really learning additional skills required for the role and love the community we have created. Phil is so engaging and motivating, it’s great to get the chance to have the time with Phil in such a small group.

Florence Dennis, Lead Client Adviser

“I’ve really enjoyed the experience of the Leadership Programme, particularly mixing with people from around the business that my every day role doesn’t put me in contact with. The sessions are challenging which gives you a fresh perspective on things… Phil is super motivational and has given me a lot of tools that I can take away to my role and career.” I would recommend that anyone in a managerial role undertakes this programme.”

The Partners& Leadership Academy syllabus was excellent in building a greater understanding of tools that are available to me and practical application of these to help me develop and grow as a leader in business. Having completed the programme, I feel enabled to continue to grow as a successful leader, with those I work with being at the centre of that success.
