Phil Barton, Partners&, CEO

Our aim is to be the best insurance advisory business in the UK… one way we will measure this is by the recognition we receive from our clients, our industry and our ecosystem partners. We’re proud of these achievements, and will strive to build on this recognition to continuously improve the experience we provide to our clients and the people who work with us. Partnership underpins our approach. We aim to work with clients to challenge their understanding of risk and support them to make informed decisions to protect their business, employees and families through our resilience model – it’s what we call the Partners& Difference.

Our clients tell us they want to build quality relationships with us and they want us to anticipate their needs – and that’s precisely what we’re on a mission to do. Here’s how… We’re:

Helping clients to understand underinsurance

– in plain English, so they can make informed decisions.

Supporting clients to manage their people risks

– businesses are facing unprecedented staffing issues. We help our clients to navigate these uncertain times to recruit and retain a quality team.

Working with clients to recognise that cyber crime is one of the biggest threats to their business

– we are busting the myths that surround this very real challenge.

Taking a proactive approach to claims

– our in-house claims colleagues works side by side with our service teams to provide advice before the accident happens, and stand shoulder to shoulder with clients when it does.

Listening to our clients and shaping our business based on their feedback

– creating a client experience that is friendly, approachable and focused on their needs.

Recognising the great work our people are doing to support our clients

– because motivated, talented people deliver great client service.

As a Chartered insurance broker, we have a commitment to the wider community, to do our very best in providing expert advice. Partners&  has successfully obtained Cyber Essentials Plus certification from The IASME Consortium Ltd. At a time when cybercrime is at an all-time high, this accomplishment marks a significant step in enhancing our cybersecurity landscape.

We take the security of our and our clients’ data, very seriously. We have partnered with Citation Cyber, to introduce an enhanced level of rigour across the business. The result is that Partners& is now well-positioned to meet the needs of corporate clients for whom this is a requirement. It also equips Partners& to deal with sensitive personal data, building a platform for accelerated growth in the wellbeing, health and protection part of our business.

According to Swati Chopra, Chief Information Officer, “At the beginning of this financial year, we set a goal to elevate our current cybersecurity measures by striving for Cyber Essentials Plus certification. With so much evidence pointing to the likelihood of a company experiencing a data breach, addressing our security environment has become a strategic priority.

“We initiated the project in early April, which involved conducting onsite, internal, and external vulnerability tests on our systems to assess the level of risk. The evaluation process included a thorough examination of our infrastructure, aiming to identify potential security incidents and provide actionable recommendations to mitigate them.”
