Partners& launched reverse mentoring programme

Partners& has marked International Women’s Day 2026 by launching a reverse mentoring programme in support of this year’s theme, #GivetoGain. The aim of the prgramme will be to provide a platform for its talented early career women to bring fresh thinking, digital confidence, lived experience and their unique perspective on the future of work.

The platform will enable those who sign up to:

  • Share their lived experiences and insights directly with senior leaders
  • Influence how the organisation evolves and the decisions it makes
  • Shape conversations about culture, inclusion, digital behaviours and the modern workplace
  • Highlight blind spots and emerging trends that leaders may not see
  • Build confidence, visibility and connection across the business

Reverse mentoring is powerful because it flips the traditional dynamic – young voices lead the conversation, and senior leaders listen and learn.

How the programme will work
The programme will pair junior colleagues (the mentors) with senior leaders (the mentees) to bring different perspectives, experiences and generational insight. The aim is to:

  • Broaden leadership awareness for decision making
  • Strengthen cultural intelligence and inclusion
  • Accelerate organisational learning from the ground up

The important role of the mentor
Mentors will:

  • Lead the conversation and shape the agenda
  • Share their experiences, insights and viewpoints
  • Offer honest, constructive reflections
  • Help leaders understand emerging trends and the lived experience of early career colleagues

This is not about hierarchy – it’s about partnership, learning and influence.

Why launch on International Women’s Day?
International Women’s Day is a platform to celebrate progress, amplify women’s voices and take meaningful action toward gender equality. This year’s Give To Gain theme reminds us of something powerful: when we give, we gain.

By giving young colleagues the opportunity to share their insights, lived experiences and perspectives, they help shape a more inclusive, connected and forward‑thinking organisation. And in return, they gain visibility, influence, confidence and the chance to directly shape the change they want to see.
