The team based in our Houghton-le-Spring office in Tyne & Wear are here to deliver insurance advice and solutions across the region. From North Yorkshire to Northumberland and everywhere in between, including Middlesborough, Durham, Sunderland and Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
Our roots in the north-east go back some 40 years through Elliott Westland Insurance Brokers who joined the Partners& family in November 2024.
Today, the team at our Partners& Tyne & Wear office is here to provide insurance advice to businesses of all shapes and sizes alongside personal insurance solutions for our private clients. With particular expertise in construction, property, retail, leisure and hospitality, we work in partnership with our clients to understand the challenges they face and how we can support with insurance risk management solutions.

In early 2024, we took the decision to partner with a charity in each of our regions.
From April 2026, our colleagues in the north of England voted to support Connecting Crossgates – a charity founded by local people, bringing people together for good with projects including a community café, mental health support and events for children.
In addition to supporting our regional charity partner, our Tyne & Wear team support a number of local sports clubs and charities such as If U Care Share, the Red Sky Foundation and the Percy Hedley Foundation, where they helped repaint their pool area and library! And keeping with the painting theme, our Tyne & Wear colleagues took part in a colour run for Grace House to help raise funds.
