Henry Newby joins Partners& as Partnerships Director

Partners& has appointed Henry Newby as Partnerships Director. The move is in line with its strategy and growth ambitions for its SME and Schemes business.

In this newly created role, Henry will report to Group CEO Phil Barton and be responsible for identifying, securing and activating new distribution partners. Prior to Partners&, Henry was Partnerships Director at Superscript, where he established and built its hugely successful partnerships acquisition channel, driving growth through high-value strategic relationships, innovative distribution models and optimised partner performance.

Phil Barton, Partners& Group CEO said: “SME and owner managed businesses are the backbone of the UK economy. We are committed to serving those entrepreneurs with a level of care, understanding and advice that is lacking in our industry. Henry brings 30 years’ experience and a substantial track record of achieving exceptional results through high performing account management and business development teams. He has an enviable track record for identifying, securing and activating new distribution partners, as well as demonstrating a positive, growth mindset and a deep commitment to the concept of partnership – all in all, a great fit!”

Henry added: “Partners&’s story and its growth journey over the course of the last 6 years have been incredibly impressive. I was excited at the prospect of joining such an innovative and high-growth business and having the opportunity to build something that will ultimately make a significant contribution to overall Group strategy.

I believe the success of any distribution partnership is built on the achievement of shared objectives, and I am excited by the prospect of what my colleagues, future partners and I can build together.”
