Partners& M&A Team Sky Dive for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity

Overview and key points

Jon Miller and Karmen Freimuth, two colleagues in the Partners& M&A Advisory team, will be taking on a major challenge – their first ever sky dive in support of the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.

The dive will take place on 7 May at the Skydive Tilstock Freefall Club at Tilstock Airfield in Shropshire and the pair aim to raise more than £1,000.

Whilst a sky dive has always been something Karmen wanted to do, it wasn’t until she heard Jon Miller talking about his plans to do an extreme challenge for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. When they suggested a sky dive, it took her exactly one second to say she’d join him.

When asked why she wanted to do this, Karmen said: “Why not? I am working through a bucket list of things to do before my birthday in August, and this is just one of many questionable items on the list! I also love that it is the 35th anniversary of the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity and they will try to get 35 people to do the skydive in the same day this year!

“I am a bit of an adrenaline junkie but normally not at height. It’ll be my first time jumping out of a plane. The closest to it was a bungee jump when I was 18 at a beer festival.”

I’m not sure what I got us both into, but like Karmen, this will be my first dive, and it’s all for a good cause! We’ve been supporting Midlands Air Ambulance Charity for the last two years, supporting them all sorts of activities – from pub quizzes and Golf Days to our M&A Lunch Club and now this! They have been great partners, and we’ve been proud to support them.
