Partners& marks pride month

Partners& is marking PRIDE month 2025 with a range of events that support its belonging and inclusion agenda.

Spearheaded by claims adviser, Tia Morrison, the programme includes an informational webinar about the history of the PRIDE movement, the Parkes & book club novel of the month, Songs of Achilles and a number of social media posts featuring colleagues sharing what PRIDE means to them.

Tia commented: ” Having been at Partners& for nearly a year at the time, I had noticed that Partners& pride themselves on their Equality, Diversity and Inclusion ethos like no other broker I had worked for. The BEAT Networks we have encourage open conversations, create visibility, and foster internal networks of support. But in July 2024, I had noticed a gap where we as a company could be doing better. Pride Month (June) is widely celebrated and recognised and takes place every year globally in support of the LGBTQIA+ community. I decided to speak out and provide my ideas as to how we could ensure we are including LGBTQ+ here at Partners& within our ED&I. Now after much work with some amazing and supportive colleagues, we have now launched our new BEAT Network – The Pride Network. Just in time for Pride Month 2025. I am super proud to have been a part of making this happen and thankful to be a part of a company that listens to their employees and strives to truly make a difference.”

Phil Barton, Partners& CEO, said: “As a firm founded on the principles of belonging and inclusion, PRIDE month represents an important date in our calendar. It offers us all an opportunity to reflect on the wonderful diversity of clients we serve and colleagues we work with. I’m looking forward to taking part in all the events we have planned this month. A big thank you to Tia for leading the charge on a great month ahead.”

Belonging and inclusion are founding principles at Partners&. The company, which has offices from Inverness to Newquay, fundamentally believes that people who feel they belong in an organisation bring their best selves to all that they do. It has been recognised at several industry awards for its D&I programme, BEAT, which is now a key feature of its sustainability strategy.
