After the success of last year’s launch at our High Wycombe office , we were thrilled to welcome a brand-new cohort to our ‘16 to CEO’ social mobility programme in Birmingham, delivered in partnership with Working Options. For a week in July 2025, fourteen pupils from the Sidney Stringer Academy based in Coventry with the aim of inspiring and equipping the next generation with the confidence, insight and practical skills that will help them shape their future careers.
The insurance industry is facing a recruitment crisis – our aim with this programme is to give young talent a vision of what a fulfilling career looks like, and set their ambitions to be a CEO one day.
From spending a day in the life of a claims adviser, personal brand building exercises to presentation skills, participants also spent time with members of our senior leaders who shared their experience on how they have made their career in the insurance sector a rewarding success. The week was an energising and rewarding experience for everyone involved.
