Q: If you could instantly master one skill, what would it be and why?
A: I never quite mastered a forward loop windsurfing, only the barrel roll, which annoys me to this day.

Q: What are you passionate about outside of work?
A: My family, two wonderful hounds Marnie and Lola, skiing, windsurfing, wine and England rugby.

Q: If you could have dinner with any historical or famous figure, who would it be and why?
A: I’d love to have dinner with Captain Robert Falcon Scott and to understand his well of resilience.

Anjali Dattani BA (Hons) Dip CII
Head of Private Clients – South
Since the beginning of her career in 2012, Anjali has focused on supporting individuals and families with complex personal insurance needs, developing a calm, thoughtful approach that helps guide clients through challenging situations requiring sensitivity and discretion. As Head of Private Clients for the South, Anjali ensures the team can consistently secure the best possible outcomes for our clients who place their trust in us.

Q: What’s one personal or professional achievement you’re proud of this past year?
A: Returning to work after my second maternity leave has been a real milestone for me, and I’ve come back with a renewed sense of focus and energy. Having some distance gave me clarity on what truly drives impact, and I feel more intentional than ever about where I invest my time. It’s been empowering to return with sharper priorities and a refreshed perspective.

Q: If you could instantly master one skill, what would it be and why?

A: I’d love to instantly master multiple languages. Being able to connect with people across cultures and understand different perspectives feels incredibly powerful — both personally and professionally. It would open up travel, communication, and learning in such a meaningful way.

Q: What’s a recent book, movie, or show you’d recommend?
A: I recently enjoyed Atomic Habits by James Clear. It’s an incredibly practical and accessible book about how small, consistent actions can create meaningful long-term change. It’s one of those books that leaves you thinking differently about your daily routines.

Grace O’Callaghan Cert CII
Head of Fine Art & Specie
Grace has been working in the insurance industry since 2021 and specialises in the provision of fine art and jewellery insurance to private collectors, galleries, museums, dealers, auctioneers and artists.

Q: What are you passionate about outside of work?
A: Outside of work, I’m passionate about creating my own art. It’s my therapeutic escape; equal parts creativity, colour, and the occasional accidental masterpiece.

Whilst I thoroughly enjoy the process, I’ve come to terms with the fact that I’m unlikely to become the next Van Gogh… which is probably for the best, as my talents (and ears!) are much safer in my day job.

Q: What career would you have chosen if you weren’t in the insurance industry?
A: The security services have always intrigued me. I’d like to be a spy, but I think it’s probably a good job I’ve ended up in insurance!

Q: What’s your favourite place you have ever visited and why?
A: Venice – its incredible blend of history, art and culture, paired with amazing food, makes it the most captivating and unforgettable place I’ve ever experienced.
