MAPP is one of the UK’s leading specialists in the management and operation of commercial real estate. Challenge

In recent years, MAPP’s existing people risk strategy included a cash plan with an annual provision for dental care. However, with the escalating dental crisis in the UK, it grew evident that this approach was becoming outdated. Recognising the concern among their employees, MAPP sought a more robust solution to support their workforce’s dental health.

They also recognised the engagement their employees continue to have with their benefits and wanted a proactive solution that supported employees’ physical and mental health journeys inside and outside of the workplace and rewarded them for doing so.

Support

In their regular strategic meetings, the teams at Partners& and MAPP identified the dental coverage gap as a critical issue. In response, they decided to invest separately in a comprehensive dental plan through BUPA, allowing employees to access dental care whenever needed, including options for walk-in appointments and reimbursement to support more extensive oral health programmes. This proactive approach ensured that MAPP’s employees had the necessary support for their dental health.

Furthermore, MAPP wanted to invest holistically in their employees’ physical, mental, and everyday health. With a firm belief that these benefits foster a more engaged, loyal, and satisfied workforce, they teamed with Partners& to introduce the Yulife platform, a comprehensive solution that encourages employees to engage in various aspects of health and wellbeing.

Perform

MAPP has experienced a significant growth in employee engagement and satisfaction, reflected in their impressive people growth rates: over 22% in 2022, 19% in 2021, and 34% in 2020. This consistent growth underscores the effectiveness of MAPP’s people-focused approach. Their recent employee engagement survey really says it all – with an impressive 90% participation rate!

Partnership

Partners& have seamlessly integrated into the MAPP team, providing ongoing support and guidance. They schedule webinars to educate employees about their policies, including dental plans, cash plans, and the Yulife app. This continuous engagement ensures that employees are well-informed and can fully utilise the benefits available to them.
