Two of our Scottish teams, MacDonald Group and Blackford Group have fully integrated into the Partners& family following recent rebrands.
MacDonald Group joined Partners& in June 2022 as our first cornerstone business in Scotland. Since then, the team have gone from strength to strength. According to Ewan MacDonald, CEO North, “Joining Partners& was the right move three years ago, as it has enabled us to provide more services for our clients and provide great support around their many business challenges.
“The team has also benefitted from wider opportunities that a leading firm such as Partners& can create – whether that’s through further professional development, in-house learning academies or working across different teams – all of which have enabled the team to progress in their careers which has been lovely to see.”
Blackford Group joined Partners& in March 2025 and brings a wealth of talent in the private client, general insurance and renewables areas. Tom Aldridge, former Managing Director and now Managing Partners Client Management, said “In Partners&, we have found the right home for our clients and our people in an increasingly competitive market. 100 Miles in May
Colleagues across Partners& are stepping up to quite a challenge! They are committing to run, walk, cycle or swim 100 miles throughout the month of May (National Walking Month) and help to raise funds for our chosen charities.
We’re partnering with one of our providers, YuLife, to get people together and have some fun, get fit all whilst raising awareness about the great work our charity partners do for the causes they support.

Partners& embraces the wellbeing sector with its latest partnership
Recognising the growth in the wellbeing sector, Partners& has welcomed niche broker, Wellbeing Insurance, into the fold. The team of five, led by Nigel Wissett-Warner, are based in Farnham and are the leading name in the world of fitness and wellbeing professionals including exercise instructors, trainers, therapists, teachers, consultants and assessors.
The move is in line with the Partners& growth strategy to bring in specialist, differentiated advice to clients. Nigel Wissett-Warner is Managing Director at WellBeing Insurance and has been in the insurance industry for more than 40 years. He and the team look to set an example for how to deliver friendly and knowledgeable advice and service to support clients to choose the right insurance cover for their needs.
