Yes – there is preparation involved which will be discussed at the time of booking with the bookings team, as well as a pre-appointment questionnaire
Results are immediate and available to discuss with GP during the appointment, however there are a few exceptions to this including cervical screening, bowel cancer screening, coronary heart scan, colon scan and mammograms.
Yes, they are completely confidential, and no results would be shared with any third party for example an insurance provider or employer.
No, you do not need to be an existing Bupa member to book and attend one of their Health Assessments.
There is a minimum age of 18+, but no upper age limit.
All patients will receive two follow up coaching calls at around 6- and 12-weeks post assessment with a BUPA health advisor to discuss goals/targets that may have been set at the point of assessment and also anything the patient might lie to discuss following their assessment.
